Jasper Joosse said… - Hello Mr Faurhoej, my name is Jasper Joosse. I started a company in ship automation in 2007. Together with the technical university of Delft in the Netherlands, we have done extensive research on the risks involved with the increasing shortages of officers and the opportunities of automation as solution to this problem. Our research is nearly complete and the next step is to start product development. We believe that we have some product ideas that increase the safety of navigation, whilst reducing manning requirements.
To develop our product, we are looking for lead users to aid us to get the best possible solutions for future customers.
The role of Maersk/the lead user would be to give input about which features are interesting, how the user interface should look like and to test the product.
Could you please indicate if Maersk would be interested to jointly develop a product? If you indicate that you are interested I would be happy to send you more information about the product via e-mail.
