So how do you service t/r up radars when it's raining or during heavy weather at sea? t/r up radars are a trend that needs to be reveresed.

Hello mr. E. Weber, sorry to delay to answer to you, I am onboard in one of our vessel in order to replace / install existing radar with one New JRC Radar.
It is very difficult to make service on 2 units radar (with t/r Up) during heavy rain or bad weather at sea but you can found / make trick so you make the service in case of emergency.
For your information with t/r up you have other benefits such as maxim power on the radar scanner with t/r down even though that radar is new and with the excellent installation of the wave guide you have loss power and year by year this can be increases.

Hope to cover your question fell free to post any other question / query if you have
