Event Description

The Short Range Certificate is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of marine VHF radios with Digital Selective Calling (DSC) for any non-SOLAS vessel This includes both fixed and hand held equipment using GMDSS frequencies and distress procedures.

The course will be taught using radio simulators.
